I have been working out at the Meridian school districts bus barn. It has been pretty slow, but Dan, the head mechanic, is pretty cool. He has a lot of stories and has a lot of knowledge on mechanic stuff. The work that I have been doing have been just regular maintains stuff, like brakes and changing oil. But the real fun is just starting to begin. We are going to swop an engine into one of the busses.

Total hours = 46

This is the good engine that we will take out and put into the other buss.

This engine has a better cooling system, so we will use it as well.

This is the bad engine. Can you see the red pice? That is the shaft seal that has popped out. You can guess where all the oil went.

  1. Good report Dan. I am happy to see that you have such a great internship.

    Did all of the oil end up on your coveralls? (;
